BERNIE’S CAFE

Bernie’s is a pop up café, operating within the Bernie Mullane Sports Complex since our renovation in 2020 which was meant to bridge the gap as we built a fully operational café.

Unfortunately COVID intervened over the following two years and we recently experienced another setback, missing out on WestInvest funding.

Regardless of these holdups, Hills Basketball remains committed to the project and will now fully fund the project ourselves.

We are currently in discussions with builders and Council regarding the project and expect the cafe to be open in late 2023!

Highlighting the natural lighting within the facility, the cafe will feature an open plan space which looks out to the nature of Bernie Mullane Sports Complex and Livi’s playground.

We are excited to provide a space for the community to enjoy great food and even better coffee. Watch this space!

Bernie’s cafe will start construction shortly, however our temporary pop up cafe has been established on a Saturday 7am – 2pm and during special events.
